Game Play Instructions

How to Play

Play Adventure Time Frosty Fight online for free. Frosty Fight is a 20-stage logic puzzle game where Finn saves a different princess on each level by collecting all the gems while avoiding dangerous obstacles, enemies, and falling in the ocean. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

  • Starting the Game
    • Click the “Play” button in the lower right corner.
      • If it is your first time playing this will send you to the first level of the game.
      • If you have already played the game in the past this will bring up the level select screen.
        • Your game progress (including which levels you have beat and your level rating) is saved in your local web browser.
          • You can go back to previously beat levels to try to obtain a higher score on them.
          • The game welcome screen contains a sound control button in the upper right corner.
          • Game Controls
            • Desktop: Use your keyboard to control Finn.
              • Arrow keys: move Finn up, down, left or right.
              • Mobile or Touchscreen: Tap your screen and use your finger like a mouse on desktop.
              • The game interface has a home button in the upper left corner, and buttons to pause the game or turn sound on or off in the upper right corner.
              • Strategy
                • Lives & Dying
                  • In this game you get infinite lives.
                  • If you get knocked off platform, accidentally step off platform, or step on spikes or a fire you die.
                  • If you die you can start the current level from scratch.
                    • Scoring Points
                      • Each gem you collect is worth points.
                      • Your 1, 2 or 3 star rating for each level is based on how many points you score.
                      • Gems collected individually are worth 5 points each, however if you can plan out your journey to where you get man gems in a row step after step then the value of each subsequent gem goes up by increments of 5.
                        • If you get 8 gems in a row without stepping on other blocks the final gem would be worth 40 points & the total for the 8 (5 + 10 + 15 + 20 + 25 + 30 + 35 + 40) would be 180 points.
                        • If the same 8 gems were collected while hitting blank platforms repeatedly in between the total score would only be 40 points.
                        • If you step on tiles you have already stepped on then your streak bonus resets to zero and the next gem will be worth 5 points.
                        • Your 1, 2 or 3 star rating for each level is based on how many points you score.
                        • You can beat some level collecting all the gems without collecting any of the coins on it, though you would be unlikely to get a 3-star rating on that level. Coins are worth 100 points each. Some levels do require you to collect the coin in addition to the gems for the level to end.
                        • Levels
                          • There are 20 levels to play through.
                          • Each level must be beat to unlock subsequent levels.
                          • You can go back to previously played levels to try to score higher on them.
                          • While the first level is easy, the difficulty of this game increases rapidly.
                          • Some levels are exceptionally difficult if you try to beat them while getting a 3-star rating.
                            • Level 20 is tough even if you ignore the star rating concept.
                              • Tricks and Obstacles
                                • When you step on a drum it will jump you 2 squares in the same direction you are moving.
                                  • If there is no platform there or there is an obstacle on that platform you will die.
                                  • The Ice King is visually large.
                                    • When he is near the front of the screen it makes it difficult to see what is behind him.
                                    • Some other platforms have fires that go on or off, or are icebergs which fall apart.
                                    • Standing behind him opens you up to many ways to die since you can’t see what is going on.
                                    • All enemies move.
                                      • Sometimes the pattern is obvious and sometimes it is less so.
                                      • When an enemy steps on a fire they temporarily pause.
                                      • Green and red switches can toggle spikes on or off.
                                      • Disintegrating platforms
                                        • While the level is not timed, be aware some platforms fall apart after being stood on & they can fall apart while you are still standing on them if you stand on them too long.
                                        • Particularly annoying, platforms which fall apart only have that feature activated by you stepping on them. Other enemies stepping on the same platforms will not cause them to disintegrate.
                                        • Game Strategy
                                          • If you are going for the maximum score possible you have to plan on hitting many consecutive gems and hope that enemies do not cross your path.
                                          • If you are trying to beat the level and are not trying to get a 3-star rating then you can view each gem as an isolated piece to collect while enemies are far away.
                                          • If you are struggling with a particular level you can beat it with a low star rating score & then come back to it later.
