Play PicTile online for free. PicTile is a 4x4 grid game where you move colored squares around the playing field to match a pattern shown at the top of the screen. Levels are timed. Maximize your score by beating levels quickly. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. Starting the Game

Select the gray Play button on the game loading screen.
Tap anywhere on the game’s welcome screen to start the game.

        Playing
        Select the buttons at the edge of the 4×4 square to move the tiles in that row or column.
        When you move tiles they are pushed until they reach the opposite edge of the playing field or run into another tile.
        You can push tiles that are in the middle of a row and you can push multiple tiles at once.
        Any individual tile or group of tiles may be moved an unlimited number of times.
        In some cases you need to push tiles that are already in the correct position out of position in order to set up the board to be able to get other tiles in the correct positions.
        Tips
        Since pieces move until they run into a wall or another piece, try to figure out how to position pieces near a corner first so then you can push other pieces up against them.
        Sometimes you need to move pieces in the opposite direction you want them to go in order to create space & then move them back.
        Scoring
        You score points each time you beat a level.
        Your score for completing each level is worth 2 points plus how much time you have remaining when the level is completed.
        Your game score is cumulative across levels.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like logic puzzle games.
        The game has no adult themed content.
