How to Play

Play Snake Yo online for free. Snake Yo is an endless snake game. Keep eating to gain speed and length while avoiding longer snakes. Once you've grown longer, take on your shorter competitors. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

If you’re ready to begin, select Play below the title of the game.
If you want to learn how to play, select Tutorial.
Select Platform if you want to change the controls for the device.

Game Controls

        Controls and indicators
        On the top left corner is the timer.
        The food you’ve eaten and your current score are shown on the top center.
        The dash meter is shown on the top right corner.
        Game Play
        Basic rules
        Pick up magic food (stars).
        Food disappears over time, so make sure to get to it as soon as you can.
        The more food you eat, the longer you get.
        You also help charge up your dash with every bit of magic food you eat.
        Use the dash.
        Dashing helps you move fast and perform complex maneuvers
        You can only dash when your dash meter is charged. At the start of the game, your charge meter is at 50 percent.
        Keep eating to charge up your dash meter even more.
        Take out foes.
        Avoid making contact with competing snakes in the early game.
        As you get longer, you can take on more enemies by touching them from behind.
        You gain bonus points for every enemy you take out.
        You can also take out larger snakes by having them run into your side (provided your head is out in front of them when contact is made).
        Scoring
        Each bit of magic food grants you 100 points.
        You also earn 1,000 bonus points for every minute you play.
        You gain 500 points for every enemy snake you take out.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like simple snake games.
        The game has no adult themed content.
