How to Play

Play Triple Mahjong 2 online for free. Triple Mahjong 2 is a Mahjong Solitaire variant where you must remove 3 identical tiles at a time to clear the stack. Remove the entire stack before the level timer runs out to win. Play through all 50 stages. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

On the welcome screen, select play to begin.
Select Help to learn the rules of the game.
Select High Scores to view the leaderboard
Use the drop-down list on the bottom left corner of the screen to select a language for your game.
Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
Game Controls
- Desktop
  - With your mouse, left click on the stones to select them.
  - Touchscreen devices
    - Tap on the stones with your fingers to select them.
    - Controls and indicators
      - The game’s controls and indicators are shown on the right side. From the top, they are as follows:
        Enlarge button: Lets you switch between windowed and full-screen modes
        Level number
        Cumulative game score
        Level timer
        Pause button
        Shuffle button
        Hint Button
        Speaker button: Turns the game’s audio effects on and off
        Music button: Turns the game’s music on and off
        Game Play
        Levels
        Levels are played sequentially.
        You automatically start at the first level.
        Finishing one level unlocks the next one.
        If you ever end with a game over, you have 2 choices:
        You can try again.
        You can end the game there. This allows you to save your score to the leaderboard.
        There are 50 levels in this game.
        Each time you reload the game, you have 2 options:
        You can start a new playthrough. This erases your previous score.
        You can continue in the last level you’ve unlocked. This loads the score you’ve earned from the latest level you cleared.
        Basic rules
        Match groups of 3 identical stones to clear them from the field.
        To make a group, select one stone, then select 2 more identical open stones.
        The game removes the matching trio automatically.
        Seasons can be grouped with any other season stones.
        Flowers can be grouped with any other flower stones.
        Outside of season and flower stones all other matches must be identical.
        You can only pair free stones.
        A free stone has no stone on top of it and one side (left or right) with no adjacent stone.
        The game helpfully highlights all the free stones in a lighter background color, with stones that are not free having more of a grayish background color.
        Clear the entire stack before the timer runs out to win the level.
        The first level starts with 2 minutes and 5 seconds on the clock.
        Later levels, with more tiles, give players more time, with the time limit going up by 5 seconds as you progress.
        Many Mahjong Solitaire games reshuffle the tiles when no valid sets remain. This game does not, so if you do not see any matches left available it might be because there are not any & you need to manually reshuffle the tiles.
        Scoring
        Your score is cumulative across every level you play.
        Each group of stones you remove is worth 100 points.
        You also receive 30 points for every second left on the clock.
        You can save your score on the leaderboard by meeting the following conditions:
        You win all 50 levels.
        You stop playing after a game over.
        Assistance
        For a price, you can use shuffles and hints to help you out.
        Shuffles will rearrange all the stones in the stack.
        A shuffle costs 500 points.
        Unlike most of our other Mahjong Solitaire games, this game does not auto-shuffle when no open matches remains.
        Hints will highlight a valid group of stones in the stack. Each hint costs 100 points.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like Mahjong Solitaire games.
        If you enjoyed this game you may want to play the predecessor, Triple Mahjong.
        The game has no adult themed content.
